Apprehensive.

Thats what the expression on this bunnys face says to me.

Maybe it's the stress of the up and coming Easter holidays that has got him a little worried.

After all, dying and hiding all those eggs is a pretty heavy burden for one to bear alone.

Especially at his age, though he hides it very well don't you think?

The Circus Comes To Town!

So,like I mentioned in my last post, I recieved this old cigar box many many years ago.

I finally decided to do something with it rather than letting it collect dust.

Alot of sanding, a little spackling, some prep. painting and the box was like my canvass waiting for me to create.

No real plans, I just knew I wanted stripes.

Once I painted the front, I had a vision of what I wanted it to be.

After several good coats of paint, I dry brushed a stain for that grungy/aged look. Then I pulled out my paper clay and went to work on the main feature.

Here it is...all done!

I left the insides at it's originality.

A New Project

I've been working on a new project lately.

Something a little different than my usual stuff.

A few years back I was given this old cigar box.

I kept it as is because I loved the look and I did not want to change it's appearance in any way.

However, it has sat in boxes or just sat collecting dust....as is.

So, I finally decided to alter it with some paint and paper clay.

Below are a couple of pictures of the box just as I was starting the process.

I am about half way finished and am hoping to have it done within a week.

I have had a bum shoulder for last week now so, it is slowing me down..ugh.

Well, sort of.

This is an old blog that I had and delete all the info on it.Then,I started a whole other brand spanken new one in another name.

This one sat for a long, waiting for me to make a decision on what to do with it.

Since I LOVE all things Halloween, all year long, I decided to make this old blog of mine dedicated to just that.
