Ahhhh remembrances of Maui

My mother and I had a fabulous time in Maui! We went to wonderful restaurants each night! One of our very favorites is Mama's Fish House.

Yes that is my darling 86 soon to be 87 year old mother enjoying her coconut baked prawns.
When on the Island do as the Islanders do...drink up! I adored these flower arrangements sprinkled through out the restaurant.

The architect Bill Kohl does an unbelievable job on Mamas Fish house! Here Bill uses antique fishing poles to create a canopy over a round dining table. There are two resident birds that greet guests as they arrive at Mama's.

Part of what I love about Mamas is the mix...true island style stirred with a little Kitch...like this hula woman lamp with hips that move! Below is an example of Bill's Asian inspired work.
