Merriwether condo a happy peaceful blend of colors

Upon entering this condo you immediately feel the marriage of color ...not too much...and neutrality...not boring!  The combination is a peaceful / happy blend of ingredients.

This condo needed a lot of work to get it up to speed for my clients taste. Kimberlee Jaynes Interior Designs Inc. used the new full spectrum colors from Benjamin Moore called " Color Stories" for all interior colors. The effect is calm soothing and rich. The area rugs in the hallways, powder room, master bath and living rooms are from Tufenkian Fine Carpets

 BEFORE

The neutral soft leather sofa sectional provides lots of seating and simplifies the space. These bold patterned pillows along with bright art work pull in color to the neutral envelope of this condo.

The shimmering modern crytstall chandelier and architectual chairs create an inviting dining room adjacent to the kitchen. We added black granite to the island that was previously wood.

This alcove is now inviting with a area rug and two comfortable chairs overlooking the Willamete river.

BEFORE

The fireplace before seemed unimportant so we wrapped it in black granite and faux painted the surround to bring in the wall colors. The TV is now floating on an articulated arm above a wall hung cabinet leaving this area sleek and clean.

BEFORE

The powder room before had lots of texture and faux painting in colors that left the home owner and I cold. So we introduced a cocoa color and had the mirror made to reflect the colors in the art work.

 BEFORE

The wall opposite of the bed holds this beautiful modern chest topped with a simple modern art piece.

We added the shoji sliders for privacy in the master bath. The long modern runner adds warmth under foot in this travertine cover floor.

The vanity in the guest bath left a little to be desired so we updated the look with a espresso stained cabinet and new neutral counter top and back splash.

The end result is much like the photo pictured above...it's fun light and airy!
